Our programmes are developed and carried out by hospitality industry professionals with international and southern African industry experience.
TRAINING PROGRAMMES CREATED BY HOTELIERS FOR (FUTURE) HOTELIERS
All our programmes are developed by industry professionals working and living in and for the industry since more than a decade. From non-managerial positions in all departments, to mid-management, to executive management and ownership … we experienced it all in multiple countries and cultures. Most important, we do not only know the international hospitality industry but also gained over 20 years of experience in the southern African hospitality and tourism industry. We know the challenges involved in operating, training and managing a hospitality establishment and are aware the strengths and weaknesses of learners in this specific region and cultures.
This learning, training and working experience, together with our trainer experience in Switzerland – the country most famous for its successful dual vocational education in hospitality – showed us which skills, knowledge and traits are important and needed in the industry and specifically in southern Africa.
WE INSPIRE, GROW AND DEVELOP THE NEXT GENERATION OF HIGHLY SKILLED PROFESSIONALS, WHO MASTER THE ART OF HOSPITALITY FOR A CAREER IN THE INTERNATIONAL SERVICE INDUSTRY…
… therefore, we focus on industry-oriented education.
The core of all our programmes is the transfer of the exact and up-to-date knowledge and skills sought after by the hospitality industry and their guests. Unlike many other training programmes, we first develop the training content that meets the industry requirements and then search for solutions to transfer the content through the right training approach and didactics that each learner understands.
We integrate the unique industry needs of the specific southern African regions and countries into our programmes and combine them with the international hospitality standards.
To keep our finger at the pulse of time of rapidly changing guest expectations, industry trends, new technologies and equipment, and up-to-date best practices in hospitality and education we have support from our board of advisors. The board consists of dual vocational hospitality trainers, hosts, supervisors, department heads and general managers/manageresses serving the hospitality industry all over the world as well as teachers and professors in youth and adult education.
This combination of international industry expertise, national industry experience and educational leadership allows us to find solutions that primarily focus on the demands of the industry stakeholders and the desired learning outcome.
Especially, our dual vocational programmes ensure that each graduate is able to fully perform the designated job role with routine and according to international service standards without neglecting the local sense of hospitality.
