Overview

Upskill your employees’ practical experience with theoretical expertise knowledge to unlock their full potential

The Art of Hospitality stands for customer care, emotional excellence and exceptional guest service at all times. To be able to fully master the Art of Hospitality practical skills but also theoretical background knowledge is required.

It is not your management team but your non-managerial employees who spend most of the time with your guests. Therefore, your non-managerial employees’ confidence, professionalism, emotional excellence, service-readiness, dedication, efficiency, solution-orientation and interdepartmental thinking ensures smooth operations and influences your guests’ experience and satisfaction the most.

We provide your employee with the theoretical product, equipment, processes, concepts and background knowledge that enables him/her to see the bigger picture, to understand not only how things are done but also why, to come up with own solutions and to foster his/her inter-departmental thinking.

Besides the knowledge in all directly hospitality related operations – Housekeeping, Laundry, Food & Beverage, Kitchen and Front Office – your employee also receives all core and related knowledge required to unlock his/her full potential in the current position, to allow an easier transfer into another department or to step into a higher position with additional internal practical training.

We train your employee for you; all you have to do is to invigilate the theoretical assessments.

Our tutors have many years of international hospitality expertise in all non-managerial and managerial areas and are eager to pass on their knowledge and skills.

ADMISSION

Your learner does not need a specific entry qualification to become part of the Mainporter Community!

What you need to register one of your employees for this programme:

As this is a theory programme without practical training, no employer establishment verification is required to enrol an employee for this programme. However, as you sponsor the training, we also need to enter a Training Partnership Agreement with your company.

Whilst we do not have specific admission requirements besides the proficiency in English, you can set up your own employment criteria which ensure that the employee meets your expectations, fits into your team and into your company culture.
